Our friends over at Big in Japan recently launched a sweet new app for the Google Android phone platform. The free application is currently available on the HTC G1, aka “the Google Phone.” Here’s how it works.
Users can scan the bar code of any product using their phone’s built-in camera. ShopSavvy will then search for the best prices online and through the inventories of nearby, local stores using the phone’s built-in GPS.
