Bing cashback is in turbo-mode through December 2nd!!  Cashback rates have been upped to entice users doing their holiday shopping.

I can vouch for this truly awesome service – I cashed in on a Bing cashback deal back in June when buying an iPhone 3GS (they weren’t excluded by AT&T at the time) and saved $104! Don’t forget you can combine these cashback offers with the upcoming Cyber Monday deals!  Here is the complete list of stores. Check out the participating gadget sites below:

Highlights:
AT&T — 35% cashback (iPhone excluded, unfortunately)
T-Mobile — 35% cashback
Dell — 20% cashback
HP — 20% cashback
Lenovo — 20% cashback
Walmart — 15% cashback
Overstock — 15% cashback

The Rest:
Sears — 8-13% cashback
Circuit City — 8-12.2% cashback
Tiger Direct — 8—12.2% cashback
eBay — 8-10% cashback
Best Buy — 5-10& cashback

Live.com CashBack – Save up to 35% on eBay Purchases!

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

Overview

Microsoft’s Live.com has a promotion “The Search That Pays You Back” which gives you 5%-35% cash back when you use the Live.com search engine. The CashBack percent tends to fluctuate, so you may want to hold off if it’s currently less than 10%.
You can get up to $200 CashBack per completed item/auction. For example, when the discount is 30%, you’d get maximum ($200) CashBack with a $666.67 item (30% of $666.67 is $200).

How to Profit

Several popular search terms (wii, PS3, toshiba, etc..) will bring up the CashBack link on Live.com.  Here’s one example:

  1. Go to http://www.Live.com
  2. Search for “Wii”
  3. Click on the link – “Sponsored sites: Wii- www.ebay.com: Buy Wii. You may get 25% off with PayPal if eligible” – at the top of the results page.
  4. Click the link which will take you to eBay.
  5. Verify there is a CashBack banner at the top of the eBay page.
  6. Search eBay for “Buy It Now” items (Note: ONLY “Buy It Now” listings are eligible for cashback).
  7. Before ‘Committing to Buy’, be sure the CashBack details are shown on the lower left of the screen with the proper percentage and dollar value.
  8. Pay using PayPal.
  9. You will receive a message from eBay: “You’ve earned cashback”.
  10. Within 60 days the cashback amount should show up in your Paypal account.

Note: If you do not receive a Cash Back message in your eBay Inbox in a few days, contact eBay through chat support. They will manually send the message to you.

Legalese

The eBay CashBack terms are controlling with respect to the Microsoft terms. In the advent of a conflict, the eBay terms take precedence.

In the event that you receive CashBack Rewards for a purchase that is later determined to be an ineligible purchase, you provide PayPal with the right and authority to remove the CashBack Rewards from your PayPal account, even if it means that your PayPal account will have a negative balance for which you will be liable.
