Boy Genius Report’s sources claim AT&T (and likely Apple) are contemplating launching an 8GB iPhone 3GS at the $99 price point sometime between now and Christmas. Boy Genius is usually in the know regarding such things, and it does makes sense that Apple would look to offer a cheaper 3GS to compete against the $99 Droid Eris.
Attn AT&T/Apple: All I want for Christmas is some reliable phone service!
