Focus on shopping around the Internet to find a good price.
- Aggregators: Kayak.com
- Traditional Booking Sites: Orbitz, Travelocity and Expedia
- Airline’s own websites: American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Jet Blue
Be Flexible
- Try not to fly on a Friday or Saturday, as these are the most expensive days that you can travel on.
- Look at travel dates a day before and after your planned travel. A little flexibility could go a long ways towards getting you the discount airfare that you are trying to find.
- Always check different airports to see how much money you could save.

- Don’t forget to ask friends and family if they know of any travel promotes that airlines are running.
