I recently became a dad to two beautiful twin girls. While raising twins is obviously quite expensive (and exhausting!), there are a few nice tricks to stretch your dollar.
The Twin Discount

If you have twins, or even if you’re buying gifts for twins, be sure to ask the cashier if the store offers a multiples discount. The majority of baby stores (Toys R Us included) offer 10% off your purchase on multiple big ticket items (i.e. when buying 2 cribs at a time). The discount typically applies to furniture, bedding sets and baby gear (car seats, strollers, travel yards, high chairs, swings, gates, exersaucers/walkers, and backpack/carriers).
Diaper Deals
Each of the big 3 (Pampers, Huggies and Luvs) diaper manufacturers offer some form of multiples discount. For instance, Pampers will send parents of multiples a stack of money-saving coupons and a free book about enjoying motherhood with multiples. See their website for full details.
FREE Loot
Send a copy of your children’s birth certificates to The First Years and they will send parents of multiples free bibs and rattles.
